The Athletic Trainer will assist the Head Athletic Trainer in administering the university’s athletic training program for approximately 300 student-athletes. Responsibilities include injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, rehabilitation, medical recordkeeping, practice and game coverage, travel, pre-participation evaluations, insurance claims coordination, and supervision of student athletic trainers and volunteers. The role requires a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Athletic Training, BOC certification, North Carolina athletic training licensure or eligibility, 1–3 years of certified experience, current CPR/AED/First Aid certification, a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
