Description
The Athletic Trainer serves as a clinical and educational resource for staff, students, and physicians, providing assessment, treatment, bracing, casting, patient instruction, documentation, and coordination of care. The role reports to the Operations Manager, requires a bachelor's degree in Athletic Training, Illinois licensure, and AHA CPR certification within 30 days of hire; BOC certification and National Athletic Trainers Association membership are preferred. The position involves extensive walking, standing, kneeling, and heavy lifting in a clinic environment subject to HIPAA privacy requirements.
