Description
The Athletic Trainer provides on-site athletic training coverage at designated schools and community events, including prevention, clinical evaluation, diagnosis, immediate care, treatment, rehabilitation, reconditioning, organization, and administration under physician direction. The role also handles documentation, professional practice activities, public speaking, cost management, and customer service. An accredited Athletic Training degree, Ohio licensure, BLS certification, and National Athletic Trainers Association Board of Certification are required; no prior work experience is required, while 1–3 years of related experience is preferred.
