The Contract and Intellectual Property Law Attorney provides acquisition and intellectual property legal support to DLA Headquarters directorates, major subordinate command counsel offices, attorneys across the DLA Legal Enterprise, and external federal agencies. The role advises on procurement, contract litigation and protests, data rights, patent and trademark matters, and other acquisition law issues; represents DLA before the Military Services, USPTO, and other agencies; and performs other assigned duties. The position is based in Fort Belvoir, Virginia, requires U.S. citizenship, a professional law degree, bar admission, at least three years of relevant legal experience, and a Secret security clearance.
