Description
The Attorney-Advisor (General) advises the Office for Civil Rights and Civil Liberties on information and privacy law, represents the Department in federal information disclosure and privacy litigation, and provides legal support on privacy compliance, FOIA matters, civil rights investigations, and related reports. The role is a non-bargaining-unit position at GS-13, GS-14, or GS-15, requires U.S. citizenship, bar admission, an ABA-accredited law degree, a background investigation, and drug testing, and requires specialized privacy and information disclosure experience for the higher grade levels.
