Description
The Audio Visual (AV) Manager supports the Building Operations department at MCA Chicago by managing AV technology for museum events, meetings, programs, and performances. The role oversees equipment budgets and inventory, runs point for events, coordinates with internal and external clients, manages AV rentals, troubleshoots technical issues, supports digital signage, trains staff, and leads team development. It requires 3 to 5 years of AV management experience, strong AV technical knowledge, Cisco network integration, communication and project-management skills, and the ability to travel and work at heights up to 10 feet. The position is full-time at 40 hours per week and may include evenings and weekends.
