Description
The Audio Visual Systems Installer installs, routes, terminates, tests, and integrates audio-visual systems, including low-voltage and fiber-optic cabling, displays, projectors, speakers, control panels, and system peripherals. The role requires reading schematics, coordinating with clients and general contractors, supporting DSP programming, training end users, maintaining project schedules and budgets, and completing work safely. It requires 2–4 years of audio-visual installation and integration experience, blueprint interpretation, reliable transportation, and the ability to perform physically demanding work in construction environments.
