Description
UJA-Federation of New York is hiring an experienced, hands-on Audio Visual Technician to provide day-to-day audiovisual support for conference centers, meeting rooms, executive events, and special programs. The role involves setting up, testing, operating, troubleshooting, maintaining, and breaking down AV equipment; supporting videoconferencing and collaboration platforms; consulting with event organizers; and delivering white-glove service to executives, board members, donors, and VIP guests. It is a second-shift position with standard hours of 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM, with flexibility for occasional evening, morning, and Sunday work. The position reports to the Manager, AV and requires a related college degree or equivalent AV experience and technical school training, along with 3–5 years of audiovisual support experience in a corporate environment. The salary range is $66,500 – $73,000.
