Description
The Audio-Visual and Stage Lighting Technician provides audio-visual, stage lighting, closed-circuit television, and general facility support under the Operations Manager. Responsibilities include reviewing event agendas, setting up and taking down equipment, operating audio-visual and lighting systems, assisting with production planning, performing minor repairs and preventative maintenance, maintaining inventory and control booths, and coordinating with users. The role requires specialized training or an apprenticeship/internship, typically one to two years of similar experience, and the ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 25 pounds and operating cameras, computers, and lighting control systems.
