Description
The Audiologist provides diagnostic evaluations of the auditory and vestibular systems and assesses the neurological status of adults and children. The role includes counseling and rehabilitation recommendations for hearing-impaired patients, cochlear implant candidacy assessments, diagnostic testing, hearing-aid referrals, mobile diagnostic services, equipment calibration and maintenance, patient education, and coordination with physicians and families.
