Description
Sutter Health is hiring a full-time Eligibility and Prior Authorization Specialist to verify patient eligibility, coordinate benefits, confirm insurance coverage, determine and obtain prior authorizations, and document responses in the patient electronic medical record. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, one year of recent relevant experience, medical terminology and coding knowledge, Microsoft Office proficiency, and strong communication and organizational skills. It is a regular, non-exempt, full-time position with a Monday-Friday schedule, as needed weekends, home-work eligibility within the Northern California footprint, and pay of $28.75 to $40.24 per hour.
