Description
The Autism Specialist provides individualized developmental and educational services to children and adolescents with autism in a clinical setting or the client’s home. The role designs programs and teaching procedures, applies behavioral techniques, monitors client progress, maintains electronic health record data, and reviews autism research and behavioral modification theories. It requires a high school diploma or equivalent, three months of Autism Assistant experience or six months of direct client care experience, and CPR certification after hire. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with pay starting at $20.00 per hour and ranging to $22.50.
