Description
The Auto Mechanic provides skilled maintenance, diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and repairs for Geisinger vehicles and gasoline-operated equipment, including engine and transmission work, air-conditioning systems, emergency generators, and fuel and refrigerant handling. The role also includes vehicle inspection, recordkeeping, work-order management, inventory requisitions, and compliance with DOT safety regulations. It is a regular, rotating-shift position at the Geisinger Medical Center Annex Building, typically scheduled 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with a high school diploma or equivalent and at least two years of relevant experience required.
