Description
The Automotive Mechanic performs repairs and maintenance on vehicles by removing, replacing, adjusting, and cleaning automotive parts; diagnosing problems with on-board computers and test equipment; testing emission and computer control systems; and operating vehicles for testing and facility movement. The role requires a valid driver's license, knowledge of automotive systems and repair techniques, basic diagnostic and tool skills, and the ability to work in physically demanding conditions involving fluids, fumes, and protective gear.
