Quest Global is hiring a Mechanical Design Engineer to own complete enclosure systems, including external sheet metal cabinets or consoles and heavy structural steel frames or base skids. The role focuses on robust CAD design and drafting for physical production, including sheet metal layouts, 3D modeling, 2D production drawings, GD&T, welding symbols, BOMs, and design for manufacturing. Candidates need a mechanical, structural, civil, or CAD/drafting degree, at least three years of combined sheet metal enclosure and structural frame design experience, and advanced daily proficiency in Autodesk Inventor.
