Description
The Parks and Recreation Groundskeeper performs manual and semi-skilled landscaping, groundskeeping, custodial, and light maintenance work at parks, recreation buildings, athletic fields, trails, boat landings, and other facilities. Duties include mowing, planting, watering, chemical and fertilizer application, equipment operation and maintenance, minor repairs, grounds inspections, and customer service. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a South Carolina or North Carolina driver’s license, and the ability to pass a pre-employment physical and background check.
