Description
The Automation & Controls Engineer will design, develop, commission, and maintain machine control and safety systems for food-processing equipment in washdown environments. Responsibilities include PLC, HMI, SCADA, VFD, vision-system, motor, pneumatic, cabling, interlock, wiring, networking, documentation, customer support, new-product development, equipment start-ups, and process-control evaluations. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent education and experience, at least five years of programming experience across PLC, HMI, SCADA, VFD, and SQL technologies, and willingness to travel up to 15%. The position is based in Winter Haven, Florida, pays $90,000 or more annually, and includes medical, dental, and vision insurance.
