Automation & Controls Engineer at K2 Space

K2 is hiring a Production Automation Engineer to develop and operate automation systems supporting spacecraft production. The role collaborates with mechanical, electrical, and production engineers; designs electromechanical tooling and automation assemblies; builds, activates, and qualifies robotics, computer vision, PLC, and HMI systems; and improves production takt rate and first-pass yield. Candidates need a relevant engineering bachelor’s degree, at least two years of high-volume manufacturing or hands-on engineering experience, and exposure to precision assembly or electromechanical integration. The position offers a base salary of $100,000–$140,000 plus equity and medical, dental, and vision coverage.
