Description
The Automation Control Technician supports, maintains, and optimizes automated manufacturing systems by maintaining electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical equipment; performing preventive maintenance; installing, debugging, and starting up new equipment; troubleshooting PLCs and related systems; supporting vision systems; documenting equipment and process changes; and collaborating with production, engineering, quality, and cross-functional teams. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least four years of electronic, industrial, or manufacturing experience or equivalent education and experience, and foundational knowledge of PLCs, electrical systems, Ohm’s Law, and troubleshooting.
