Description
Cedar’s Foods is hiring a full-time Automation Technician for a weekend shift in Haverhill, Massachusetts. The role performs troubleshooting, diagnostics, repairs, upgrades, and modifications to automated electromechanical systems, including instrumentation, PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, sensors, and control systems. The technician also supports engineering design, integration, startup, testing, and debugging of new systems, prepares electrical and software specifications, and provides technical support. The position requires a technical degree or applicable education, at least two years of facility experience focused on automated equipment or control systems, and strong electrical, mechanical, PLC, and troubleshooting skills. The schedule is three 12-hour shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, with four days off per week, and the work is performed in person.
