Description
The Automation Control Technician supports, maintains, and optimizes automated manufacturing systems by maintaining electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical equipment; performing preventive maintenance; installing, debugging, and starting up new equipment; troubleshooting PLCs and related systems; supporting vision systems; documenting equipment and process changes; and collaborating with production, engineering, quality, and cross-functional teams. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least four years of electronic, industrial, or manufacturing experience, and foundational PLC programming and troubleshooting skills; an associate degree in Mechatronics, Industrial Electronics, or a related technical field is highly preferred.
