Mentor Technical Group is hiring a full-time, mid-level Automation Engineer for the 1st shift in Wilson, North Carolina. The role resolves on-site incidents involving operational technology and related IT systems supporting packaging lines, performs Level 1 troubleshooting, supports root-cause analysis, maintains technical documentation, and meets response-time and call-closure quality targets. Candidates need experience with OEM packaging equipment, PLCs, HMIs, vision systems, and major control platforms, along with availability for rotating overnight and early-morning shifts.
