Description
Amazon is hiring an Automation Engineering Apprentice to learn equipment troubleshooting, maintenance, installation, and repair of robotics and material-handling systems. The apprentice will work onsite for a two-year apprenticeship following a 12-week training period, paired with journey workers and mentored by senior technicians. Responsibilities include preventative and corrective maintenance, electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, PLC and robotics work-cell support, and compliance with safety regulations. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least one year of Amazon RME mechatronics and robotics technician experience, Microsoft Office experience, basic mathematics knowledge, and the ability to work flexible shifts including weekends, nights, and holidays.
