Description
ABB is hiring an Application Engineer for its Machine Automation division in South Korea. The role supports engineering activities across project sizes, develops and implements automation solutions, performs system testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and technical support, prepares technical documentation, programs PLCs, HMIs, motion-control, and industrial communication systems, and provides customer and internal technical guidance. The position is hybrid, requires at least two years of relevant industrial or machine automation experience, a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related engineering field, knowledge of motion control and industrial networks, willingness to travel 30–50%, and business-level Korean with English communication skills.
