Description
ABEC is hiring a full-time onsite Automation Engineer at its Bethlehem facility to design, develop, test, and lead automation projects for bioreactor systems. The role translates user requirements into automation code, programs PLCs, OITs, HMIs, MCUs, DCS controllers, and smart instruments, supports FAT and SAT activities, coordinates design and manufacturing, manages project costs and milestones, and provides technical support and field services. A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related discipline and 3–5+ years of automation systems experience are required, along with proficiency in Allen-Bradley, Delta V, or Siemens platforms.
