Amazon is hiring an Automation Engineer for its logistics location in Kobern-Gondorf. The role monitors, troubleshoots, repairs, and improves automated material-handling systems, including PLC-controlled equipment, SCADA/HMI platforms, conveyors, sortation systems, and control networks. Responsibilities include data visualization, documentation, equipment commissioning, cross-site support, and developing IEC 61131-3-compliant improvement strategies. The position requires PLC automation and issue-diagnosis experience, Ignition SCADA or similar HMI experience, a technical apprenticeship or degree, and English and German proficiency.
