AFRY is hiring an Automation Engineer to join its electrification, instrumentation, and automation team in Kotka and support investment, modernisation, and development projects in the process, chemical, and oil refining industries. The role involves designing control and interlock diagrams, DCS and PLC specifications, I/O design, functional descriptions, procurement and work-scope specifications, customer collaboration, and commissioning support. Candidates should have relevant technical education, industrial automation or instrumentation design experience, process automation knowledge, and Finnish and English language skills; at least five years of similar experience is valued, although early-career professionals may also be considered.
