Description
The Automation Technician provides start-up, checkout, programming, commissioning, troubleshooting, and networking for building automation and control systems. The role works with design, operation, and purchasing teams; programs PLCs, DDC controllers, sensors, actuators, and control software; configures Ethernet and serial networks; maps control points to supervisory controllers and graphical interfaces; and mentors Automation Technicians I and II. The position is based in Clarksville, Arkansas, with applications through Little Rock, Fort Smith, or Fayetteville, Arkansas postings, and requires four to seven years of automation-related field experience plus an associate degree or equivalent experience.
