Description
The Automation Engineer designs and develops custom automated machinery, robotic systems, tooling, fixtures, and manufacturing equipment. The role covers machine layout and 3D CAD modeling, automation and robotics integration, component selection, customer and supplier collaboration, documentation, testing, commissioning, and technical support. It requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering or technology field and at least five years of experience in machine design, automation engineering, robotics integration, or custom equipment development. The position is full-time, nonexempt, based in Appleton, Wisconsin, with occasional travel to customer locations.
