The Automation Engineer develops PLC programs and IT applications, engineers and programs industrial PCs, configures hardware and software, commissions and optimizes mechatronic systems, manages automation projects, and commissions systems worldwide. The role requires an Electrical Engineering or Automation Technology degree, programming skills in CodeSys, Siemens TIA, or B&R, fieldbus knowledge, German and English proficiency, a class B driver’s license, and willingness to travel 20–30% of the time.
