Description
LAPORTE is hiring an Automation Engineer to design and commission automated systems for pharmaceutical and food plants, manage automation projects, prepare specifications and estimates, coordinate with suppliers and contractors, and participate in testing. The role requires a relevant bachelor’s degree, membership in the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec, and at least five years of industrial automation experience; experience with electrically classified areas and the food or pharmaceutical sector is an asset. The position is based in Montréal or Brossard, offers a hybrid work model with at least two office days per week, and includes medical, dental, and vision insurance.
