Metroplan is hiring an Automation Engineer to identify automation and digitalization opportunities in production and logistics processes, plan and implement solutions for factory planning projects, coordinate with IT/OT implementation partners, and support customers. The role requires a degree in a relevant engineering or computer science field, experience with automation, robotics, machine communication, networked IT systems, data modeling, optimization algorithms, AI, and Industry 4.0 technologies, as well as relevant industrial operations experience. The position offers hybrid work from Hamburg, Düsseldorf, or Wrocław, along with performance-based remuneration, profit sharing, and professional development.
