Description
The Industrial Automation Engineer leads automation and process-improvement projects at manufacturing sites, translating concepts into scalable solutions and overseeing installation, programming, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and deployment. The role requires travel to at least 50% of manufacturing facilities, hands-on support during installation and ramp-up, and coordination with site leadership and cross-functional teams. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, operations management, industrial engineering, or a related field, plus 3–7+ years of experience in industrial automation, manufacturing engineering, or a related field, along with hands-on experience with robotics, PLCs, vision systems, conveyors, and production troubleshooting.
