Description

Pearl is hiring a remote-first Automation Engineer to migrate business-critical workflows from n8n, Zapier, and other low-code tools into reliable, version-controlled software services. The role focuses on durable orchestration, integrations, observability, data integrity, testing, CI/CD, and recovery mechanisms using Python and/or TypeScript, Temporal.io or comparable frameworks, PostgreSQL, and related infrastructure. The engineer will build reusable connectors and production-grade automation for Pearl's recruiting, CRM, operational, and internal systems, with meaningful overlap with United States business hours.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: Experience owning backend integrations, internal tooling, or automation infrastructure at a startup
Experience building durable workflow systems and handling production on-call consequences
Experience migrating low-code workflows into production software
Production engineering experience with Git, testing, CI/CD, logging, monitoring, and operations
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Temporal.io, n8n, Zapier, or Make
Experience with Supabase, event-driven architectures, Docker, and cloud deployment
Recruiting or CRM platform integration experience
AI/LLM workflow or agent infrastructure experience
