Description
The Automation Engineer will translate materials research workflows into software integrations, design automated workcells, connect instruments and robots to laboratory information systems, develop instrument drivers, and integrate autonomous-lab systems with AI models. The role requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, at least five years in lab, integration, or industrial automation software, robotic automation experience, Python and API/database skills, and familiarity with LIMS or MES systems. It is based in Menlo Park, California, offers $200,000-$250,000 plus equity, and provides visa sponsorship.
