Description
The Automation Engineer supports and improves production in a fast-paced manufacturing environment by developing Ignition HMIs, programming and debugging Allen-Bradley PLCs and Fanuc robots, commissioning automation and robotic cells, tuning control systems, managing automation projects, coordinating with vendors and cross-functional teams, and leading automation engineers and technicians. The role requires a bachelor's degree in an engineering or controls-related field and 2–3 years of relevant coursework and experience; manufacturing automation, PLC programming, industrial robots, controls hardware, communication protocols, and troubleshooting are preferred.
