Description
The Automation Engineer will optimize and develop production plants and automation systems, create and process plant programs and operator interfaces using STEP 7 and TIA Portal, diagnose machine and plant faults, participate in automation and improvement projects, maintain technical documentation, and collaborate with production, engineering, and external partners. The role requires technical training in electrical engineering, automation technology, or mechatronics, experience with automation, maintenance, or PLC programming, German language skills, and MS Office proficiency. The collective bargaining agreement minimum salary is €47,546.94 gross per year for full-time work.
