Description
The Automation Engineer analyzes existing processes, identifies automation opportunities, and plans, designs, and implements PLC-based control and regulation systems. The role supports testing, simulation, commissioning, fault analysis, and troubleshooting; collaborates with Production, IT, and Quality Assurance; maintains technical documentation and compliance; and conducts product validations from prototype through finished product. The position requires a technical degree in automation, electrical, mechatronics, or a comparable field, PLC programming experience, familiarity with industrial communication, analytical and communication skills, and German and English proficiency at least at B2 level.
