Description
Molex is hiring an Automation Engineer (Mechanical Design) in Nogales, Sonora to design, develop, integrate, and improve semi-automatic and automatic manufacturing equipment. The role leads mechanical machine design from 3D modeling through fabrication, assembly, validation, and production release; coordinates with machine shops, suppliers, and internal teams; integrates mechanical systems with PLC controls, robotics, vision systems, pneumatics, and safety devices; and manages automation projects through implementation and maintenance planning. Candidates need at least four years of relevant experience, advanced proficiency in a 3D CAD tool, and strong knowledge of machine design, GD&T, DFM/DFA, safety, and reliability.
