Description
The Automation Engineer will support customers by programming, conducting test runs, performing FAT and SAT, and commissioning machines, equipment, and automated lines at customer and end-customer sites, with possible travel. The role requires PLC programming, simulation, machine commissioning, collaboration with robot programmers and electrical designers, post-secondary technical education in automation, and a strong understanding of functional requirements. Desirable qualifications include pneumatics, robot programming, multiple control systems, and machine-safety knowledge.
