AVAT is hiring an Automation Engineering Development Engineer / CODESYS to develop innovative automation and control solutions for modern onboard power supply systems in the maritime sector. The role involves creating new control and regulation functions, designing CODESYS-based software, developing CANopen and Ethernet communication solutions, supporting functions from concept through deployment, and collaborating with international partners and customers. The position is based in Tübingen and requires a degree in automation engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a comparable qualification, or relevant technician training and experience; PLC programming, especially with CODESYS, is preferred, along with German and English language skills.
