Van Meter is hiring an Automation Engineering Intern to support industrial automation engineering, solution design, and system implementation. The intern will work under experienced engineers on defined project assignments, assist with application research, technical scoping, BOM development, configuration, programming, testing, integration, commissioning, troubleshooting, and customer training, and participate in customer-site activities. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, current enrollment as a college sophomore, junior, or senior, and a degree in a relevant technical field. It involves office and customer-site work, travel to customer locations, and possible overnight travel.
