Description
Pacific Defense is hiring an Automation Engineering Technician in Sunnyvale, California, to support engineering development, troubleshooting, production support, PCB and complex microwave assembly, and instrumentation maintenance for defense and commercial RF and electronics systems. The role involves interpreting schematics, drawings, bills of materials, and assembly instructions; hand soldering SMT, fine-pitch, and through-hole components; performing PCB rework and modifications; collecting RF test data; writing or modifying board-level test procedures; and collaborating across engineering, manufacturing, and other disciplines. Applicants must be United States citizens, hold IPC certification, and have either a high school diploma with six years of experience, a relevant two-year technical degree with four or more years of experience, or an equivalent combination.
