Description

This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks for UI, API, and mobile applications. The individual will write and execute complex automated test scripts, conduct various forms of testing (functional, regression, integration, performance, security), and investigate production issues. They will optimize test execution pipelines within CI/CD environments like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and GitLab CI, ensuring non-functional testing is embedded into delivery cycles. Additionally, they will act as a technical escalation point for QA teams.

Additional Information

Preferred Qualifications: Experience writing and executing complex automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Appium.
Ability to perform hands-on functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing.
Proficiency in conducting API and backend testing using Postman, RestAssured, SQL queries, and stored procedure validation.
Skill in investigating production issues, performing root cause analysis, and proposing permanent solutions.
Knowledge of optimizing test execution pipelines within CI/CD environments like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI.
Ensures non-functional testing (performance, load, security) is integrated into delivery cycles.
Ability to develop and share reusable test components across teams.
Acts as a technical escalation point for QA team members, providing guidance in troubleshooting and debugging.
