Description
The Automation/Machine Design Engineer will independently and collaboratively design automation systems, fixtures, machine tools, precision tooling, and controls, then support projects through manufacturing and production-floor integration. The role includes project scheduling, supplier evaluation, cost control, compliance with OSHA and ANSI standards, change management, issue resolution, and contingency planning. It requires 5+ years of relevant experience, 3+ years of project management experience, a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience, and proficiency with SolidWorks, MS Office, MS Project, and SharePoint.
