Pivotal Systems is hiring a full-time Automation Software Engineer in Fremont, California, to design, develop, integrate, and support PC-based industrial automation systems. The role combines software development with industrial controls, including Beckhoff/TwinCAT, PLC/IPC architectures, EtherCAT, I/O, instrumentation, process-control logic, HMI, data acquisition, safety, commissioning, and troubleshooting. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline and approximately three or more years of experience developing industrial automation, equipment-control, or process-control systems.
