UPS is hiring an Automation Specialist in Milan for a permanent, full-time shift-based role with the Buildings and Systems Engineering team. The position manages and optimizes automated logistics facilities, coordinates preventive, corrective, and major maintenance, supports a team of Automation Technicians, troubleshoots PLCs and electrical systems, and leads continuous-improvement initiatives. Candidates need a technical diploma or degree in electrical engineering, electronics, automation, or a related field, industrial automation or material-handling experience, PLC knowledge, schematic-reading and troubleshooting skills, team-coordination experience, English proficiency, and shift availability.
