Description
The Automation Technician installs, programs, maintains, and repairs automated systems in an industrial environment, supporting the efficient operation of machinery and minimizing production downtime. The role also involves installing, integrating, and testing new equipment or production lines, configuring industrial electromechanical controls, and diagnosing electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic faults. Required qualifications include PLC and HMI programming and configuration experience, industrial software and hardware proficiency, problem-solving ability, and intermediate technical English; robotics knowledge is preferred.
