Linamar is hiring an Automation Technician to support manufacturing line improvements, automation, equipment realignment, and production projects in coordination with engineering and maintenance. The role involves troubleshooting process automation, planning work to minimize downtime, supporting APQP and PPAP activities, evaluating damaged equipment, and ensuring compliance with CSA, OSHA, and electrical safety requirements. Candidates need a three-year electrical or mechanical technology program, an Industrial Electrical Maintenance trade license, and at least three years of CNC and robotic repair or programming experience, along with knowledge of PLCs, robot systems, networking, and related manufacturing technologies.
