Description
The Maintenance Apprentice will learn and support injection-molding production equipment, including robots, automation systems, and auxiliary machinery. Responsibilities include troubleshooting servo-driven systems and vacuum circuits, maintaining and improving automation equipment, assisting with production start-ups and changeovers, making small robot and equipment programming changes, replacing or repairing mechanical and electrical components, and supporting the installation of new jobs. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, mechanical aptitude, own tools, basic computer experience, and the ability to read electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical schematics; PLC knowledge is preferred.
